Disclaimer: Now that I have attended an actual USBA Tournament (2003 National Championships), it is almost embarrassing to present these records and feats here. I have seen what the experts are capable of and it nearly makes this list seem silly. But in the context of my family and friends throwing together and having fun, I am still proud to present our "Records and Feats". I may eventually change this to a "Personal Bests" list.
These are the known records and feats that have been accomplished using Digital Boomerang Systems boomerangs. If you know of any others, please report them to me. Now includes Junior Division Records and "Feats".

| Most medals won in a USBA tournament using DBS boomerangs. | 12 | Andrew "Ace" Armstrong | ![]() |
Ace won every event that he entered in the Junior and Novice categories. He forgot to pick up his Trick Catch medals, so he should actually have 14. Also see this photo gallery of the tournament. |

If you know what this guy's hands look like, you wonder how he could ever miss catching the boomerang. |

Consecutive 1-Handed Catches (Opposite hand) |
11 |
Andrew Tauhert |
If you throw with your right hand, you have to catch it with your left.
|
Consecutive No-Step One-Handed Catches |
3 |
Andrew Tauhert |
Not only are his fingers long, but so are his arms and legs. His "no-step" range is way better than most people's. (I should also note that he throws well.)

October 19th,
2002. This wore me OUT! I'd better get all these records I want before I
get old overnight. (old record: 7)
Now that I've seen juggling performed with specialized, slow-hovering boomerangs, it looks way easier than using these 50 meter models. I plan an assault on this personal best soon. |

Doubling |
1.5 |

<photo coming soon> |
Two
boomerangs thrown simultaneously. It helps if the two have significantly different
flight diameters so they separate and don't crash into each other.
I have lately learned that "Doubling" requires trick catches, so this may need moved to the new "Feats" section instead. I have now seen real "Doubling" and at a USBA tournament, and I now see that this will be much easier with some specialized boomerangs. |

This

5 catches of each before a drop for a total of 10 catches. |

Behind-the-back (two-hands) catches. |

Not a photo of the actual boomerang used, because Justin has it. (I hope he still has it.)

Not measured yet, but Meek and I each have awesome contenders for this category.

you throw with your right hand, you have to catch it with your left.
Ace throws with his right and catches with his left. |

A "feat" is defined thusly:
We might like to think catching a boomerang on your head is an act of courage, but definition 2 is probably more accurate for this list.
